This knitting pattern is in Danish.
The September Hat is worked from the brim to the top in the round on circular needles in brioche stitch. Stitches are cast on using the Italian cast-on method to create a neat edge. The crown is shaped with decreases. Note that the hat is worked holding one strand of Sunday and two strands of Tynn Silk Mohair throughout (you can substitute for another yarn that gives the correct gauge).
When working brioche stitch in the round on circular needles, the brioche stitches will alternate every other round, so they are worked in brioche-knit every other round, while the opposite rounds are worked in brioche-purl. Videos of the techniques used in the pattern can be found on www.petiteknit.com.
With the correct gauge, the hat is 23 (23) cm wide, when lying flat and lightly pressed to the sides.
